Pomet’s aluminum foundry offers both sand casting (up to 120 kg) and permanent molds (up to 25 kg) to provide incredible value for every project. Pomet’s foundry also provides heat treatment, machining and non-destructive testing (NDT) to meet the highest industry standards and ensure quality aluminum casting that exceeds customers’ expectations.

After casting, each of our castings undergo a rigorous fettling process, wherein feeders are removed from the crude casting to create the final product. Pomet’s fettling process includes cutting, grinding, polishing, and sandblasting. To ensure quality, the casting is tested every step of the way.
Our in-house machine shop means that beside designing your cast, the dedicated engineers are responsible for milling, turning, and drilling the final product.
To meet highest quality standards, our aluminum castings undergo a heat treatment to improve mechanical properties and performance. First the casting is gradually heated in a controlled process, then dipped in a water/oil bath or blown by air in a process called hyperquenching. This process ensures uniformity on a molecular level, increasing each castings reliability.
Finally, if necessary, we provide painting or anodizing services as well as we can take care of delivery to any place to meet each customer’s individual needs.
